estimates a quarter of them are unaware they are infected. In King County (Seattle), 8,400
people are estimated to be living with HIV/AIDS.
There are approximately 45,000 new infections per year in the U.S with almost 600 new infections
per year in King County.
Every day in Washington State, 2 people are newly infected with HIV.
More than 42 million people are living with HIV/AIDS worldwide.
Almost 30 million of those are in Sub-Saharan Africa.
